Insurers & Fees

You can be assured that Giles Stafford is fully recognised by all of the major insurers.

It is his personal policy to not charge outside of the approved fee structures of all of the major medical insurers. If you are not insured but wish to engage the private services of Mr Stafford, the following fees will apply.

Please treat these fee indications as a guide as the actual fees may vary depending on the complexity of your case.

NOTE FOR PATIENTS INSURED WITH AXA

I am fully covered by AXA.

However, if you wish for a hip replacement using OPS, Mako, or Naviswiss (3D planning and intra-operative navigation systems); AXA will not pay for the pre-operative planning imaging (X-rays and CT scan) that these require. AXA’s rationale is that these enhanced technologies are not standard practice in the NHS.

Therefore, AXA patients will need to pay for this themselves, which is around £1,400.
